NSCDC expresses commitment to enhance security in Adamawa State, as newly posted Commandant visit Gov.

The newly posted Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Adamawa State command Idris D. Bande, has paid a courtesy visit to Adamawa State Governor , Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri at the government house Yola.

During the visit, Commandant Bande expressed his commitment to enhancing the safety and security of the state, pledging to build upon the efforts of his predecessors and work closely with other security agencies to ensure the continued peace and stability of Adamawa.

In his remarks, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri warmly welcomed Commandant Bande and thanked him for considering it appropriate to visit him first.

The Governor emphasized that security remains a fundamental aspect of his administration’s agenda, highlighting the importance of a secured environment for the overall development of the state.

Governor Fintiri charged the Commandant to add value to the existing peace and security currently being enjoyed in Adamawa State.

He expressed confidence in Commandant Bande’s ability to effectively lead the NSCDC in promoting safety and security across the state.

The Governor therefore encouraged the Commandant to foster collaboration and synergy with other security agencies operating in Adamawa State.

He emphasized on the importance of unified efforts in addressing security challenges and ensuring the overall well-being of the citizens.
