Rural Access and Agriculture Marketing Project RAAMP Gombe state office has open bid after advertising for the construction of 77 kilometers rural roads through national dailies.
The bidding process was conducted through national competitive procurement method using request for bid document as specified in the world bank’s procurement regulations.
The project coordinator Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project Gombe state office Engr. Salisu Abdullahi said the office invites all the companies involved in the bidding to witness the bidding process without fear or favour.
Engr Salisu Abdullahi added that the lot 1 to 3 of the five roads to be constructed has about 77 companies into the bidding process and will touch the lives of many people in the rural areas of four local governments which include Nafada, Funakaye, kwami and yamaltu Deba.
The RAAMP project coordinator Engr Salisu Abdullahi thanks Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for supporting the project that will improve the lives of rural dwellers.
Among the companies representatives include project manager ENACO Nigeria limited Mr Icom Ibrahim and malam Aminu Idris H AND M Nigeria limited promised to deliver quality project if they found victorious in the bidding.
The bidding opening process was attended by Enaco Nigeria limited, Triacta Nigeria limited Yari construction Nigeria limited Tinka Point limited Among others.
Among the top government officials that graced the occasion are permanent secretary rural development Abubakar Dauda Gadam and his counterpart of ministry of Works.
