Sebore Community Demands Government Attention to Infrastructure and Leadership.

Sebore Community members in Yola South Local Government, Adamawa State, have expressed dissatisfaction over being under-represented in the current political landscape at both state and national levels.

According to a report filled by correspondent Abubakar Ibrahim observed that despite being founded over 200 years ago, the community continues to face numerous challenges, including lack of infrastructure.

Community members who spoke to Radio Nigeria narrated how their community has been abandoned despite repeated appeals to the authorities, describing the situation as alarming.

Sarkin Sullubawan Yola South, Alhaji Gambo Abubakar, highlighted some of the pressing issues that require urgent government attention, to include lack of 6-kilometer road linking the community’s outskirts to the inner town, as well as inadequate electricity, water supply and subpar classrooms for their children.

A Community Leader, Bawuro Bubare, attributed their problems to a lack of effective leadership.

Commissioner, Titus Solomon of the Adamawa State Ministry for Rural Development and Infrastructure acknowledged the community’s genuine grievances and assured them that the government would address their concerns in due time.
