Secondary schools receive instructional materials in Adamawa State.

Adamawa State Government has flagged off distribution of instructional materials to secondary schools in the state.

The distribution flag-off took place at Adamawa State Post Primary Schools Management Board in Yola.

The Instructional Materials distributed includes; Chalks, Scheme of work, writing materials and records sheets among others.

Represented by the Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, Adamawa state Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, explained that the instructional materials are important for imparting knowledge on students.

He said the distribution coupled with successes already recorded in the education sector is a clear demonstration of government’s commitment to transform the education sector for good, by ensuring quality and effective learning in a conducive environment.

The governor also tasked the board to work towards ensuring a productive working environment.

Speaking at the occasion, the Executive Secretary, Post primary schools management board, Samuel Wagereng said the provision and distribution of learning materials was made possible with the support of governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri who prioritizes education in the state.

He pointed out that the distribution of such items such as chalks, scheme of work, writing materials, record sheets among others has been a routine exercise by the state government to improve education and knowledge acquisition in the state.

The Executive Secretary explained that Governor Fintiri has done a lot, hence the need to support him to achieve his goals.
