Wife of the Adamawa State governor, Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, celebrated Eid El Kabir by extending a hand of fellowship to inmates at correctional centers in Yolde Pate, Yola, and Jimeta through her pet project, Pro Life Empowerment Foundation FAPEP.
Hajiya Lami, represented by her personal assistant Asabe Shuaibu, emphasized the importance of showing love, unity, and concern to those in need, as instructed by Allah in the Holy Quran.
Hajiya Lami highlighted that giving to those in need brings blessings to the givers and urged all Muslims, regardless of their financial status, to show kindness and generosity.
The officials of the correctional centers, including 2YC Williams Ben Cham of Yolde Pate, Mohammed Huta DCC of Jimeta center, and Hussein Tahir Ibrahim ACC of Yola town center, expressed their gratitude to Hajiya Lami for her generosity and kindness towards the inmates.
They praised her for making it a priority to support and uplift those in need, and encouraged others to emulate her example.
Each center received a bull and ten bags of rice as part of the donations.
