Media professionals have been charged to practice responsible journalism by communicating the truth at all times.

Speaking on the theme of this year’s Commemoration, “Speaking with the Heart”, Reverend Dami Mamza urged journalists not to be afraid of reporting the truth even in the face of daunting challenges and stressed the need for them to purify their hearts in order to stay on the path of truth.
According to him, “No matter how difficult it is, you should insist on telling the truth.
It is your duty and responsibility to proclaim the truth.
Communication should not be used as an instrument to commit acrimony”, he added.

Let it be used in order to create harmony, good relationship, love within the community and reconciliation even among our people”, he said.
