The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ Adamawa State chapter heartily felicitates the immediate past President of the association, Ladi Bala on her appointment as the Nzubyalata Hama Batta (Spokesperson to the Hama Batta).

A statement signed by the Chairperson Rose Anthony Elishama and Secretary Gloria Abutu noted that the appointment of Ladi Bala as the first woman to hold the esteemed chieftaincy title of Nzubyalata Batta is not far from the fact that she is a distinguished female journalist renowned for her unwavering dedication to journalistic excellence.

The title, traditionally reserved for individuals of exceptional eloquence and communication prowess is a testament to Bala’s outstanding contributions to journalism in Nigeria.

Bala’s appointment as Spokesperson to the Hama Batta reflects not only her personal achievements but also symbolizes a broader recognition of the vital role that women play in shaping narratives and influencing public discourse.

Her trailblazing efforts during her tenure as National President of the association serve as an inspiration to aspiring journalists, particularly women.
