2023 Hajj: Gov. Fintiri advise Intending pilgrims to be law abiding while in the Holy land.

Adamawa state Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has advised  intending pilgrims from the state to be law abiding while performing this year’s hajj.

 

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri gave the advice while bidding farewell to the second batch of 470 intending pilgrims from Adamawa state  at the Lamido Aliyu Mustafa international airport in yola the state capital.

 

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri reminded the intending pilgrims to be law abiding while in Saudi Arabia because as a nation it  also has its laws which attracts  punishments when broken.

 

The governor expressed satisfaction with the preparation of the Adamawa state Hajj commission as well as the airline responsible for conveying the intending pilgrim to and from the holy land.

 

He said all welfare arrangements by the government was concluded in due time so as to ensure a hitch free pilgrim exercise.

 

Governor Fintiri therefore called on the intending pilgrims to be good ambassadors of the state and the nation and at the same time use the opportunity to pray for peaceful coexistence in state and the country at large.

 

About 2574 intending pilgrims from Adamawa state are expected live for this year’s hajj.

 

The first batch of 475 intending pilgrims were  airlifted on Sunday in the evening, while the second batch of 470 intending pilgrims were also airlifted on Monday evening.
