Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has announced the appointment of Auwal Tukur as the new Secretary to the State Government, SSG.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Chief press secretary to the governor, Mr. Humwashi Wonosikou.
Also appointed was Dr. Amos Edgar as the chief of staff government house and Isa Ardo takes over as Head of the Civil Service.
Until his appointment as the secretary to the state government, Auwal Tukur was a former Member of the House of Representatives and served as the Director General of the Adamawa Presidential and Gubernatorial Campaign Council in the 2023 general elections, while Dr. Edgar Amos was the Head of Service during Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s first tenure.
