Wife of Adamawa State Governor, Hajiya Lami Umaru Fintiri, has brought joy to the lives of the elderly and less privileged in the state through her generous distribution of food items and cash during the yuletide.
This kind gesture aims at putting smiles on the faces of the elderly, who are often overlooked during the festive period.
Hajiya Lami’s effort is therefore a testament to her commitment to supporting vulnerable members of the society.
As part of the initiative, five local governments were selected, Mubi North, Mubi South, Maiha, Madagali, and Michika with a total of eighty beneficiaries, from Hajiya Lami’s foundation, Pro-Life Empowerment Foundation.
Each beneficiary received a generous package, consisting of N100,000 in cash, a bag of rice, a carton of spaghetti, and 5 liters of oil.
This thoughtful donation is expected to bring significant relief to the beneficiaries and their families.
The Chairman of Michika Local Government, Mr. Danbiyu Tumba, commended Hajiya Lami’s outstanding contributions to women and youths in the state.
The State PDP Women Leader, Susan Mark, also applauded Hajiya Lami’s commitment to supporting the less privileged, highlighting her compassion and leadership.
