Adamawa state Dep. Gov calls for unity amongst people

Adamawa state Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, has called for unity from people of the state to support government’s drive to deliver good governance.

 

The Deputy Governor stated this at the 2023 thanksgiving service of the Government House Chapel, Yola, under the chairmanship of the Speaker, Adamawa State House of Assembly, Bathiya Wesley.

 

 

The Adamawa State Deputy governor, Professor Kaletapwa, admonished

Christians who converged at the chapel to acknowledge the love, mercy, grace, guidance and protection of God upon their lives.

 

The deputy governor who doubles as the Chief host and grand patron of the Chapel urged Christians to be united and peaceful for the good of all.

 

She emphasized on the importance of unity and peaceful coexistence which according to her can encourage more development and prosperity in the church, Adamawa and Nigeria as a whole.

 

Professor Farauta drew the attention of the congregation on the need for them as stakeholders to live good legacies for the next generation, even as she advocated more prayers.

 

The chairman of the occasion and speaker of the state house of assembly, Bathiya Wesley said God created humans on earth with all opportunities, hence the gathering to thank God for his favours and goodness in their lives.

 

Bathiya sued for unity and the need to coexist peacefully devoid of sentiments.

 

With a theme “Thanking God for all His benefits”, the preacher, Bishop David Zaky reminded Christians that God’s generosity and kindness are unquantifiable, hence the need to return all praise and thanksgiving.
