EID CELEBRATION:Gov Fintiri urges Muslim ummah to emulate noble deeds of prophet S.A.W

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru fintiri has Urged Muslim Ummah to emulate the noble deeds of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him in the area of helping the needy and being their brothers’ keepers beyond the holy month of Ramadan.

 

 

 

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri made the call while speaking to journalists shortly after observing the two rakat prayers to mark this year’s eid at the Yola Eid ground.

 

 

 

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri highlighted the importance of maintaining the charitable practices of Islam, emphasizing the need for being brothers’ keepers.

 

 

 

The governor lauded the philanthropic endeavors during Ramadan and encouraged the continuity of such gesture , emphasizing that the essence of Islam is not only in observing rituals but in serving humanity as well.

 

 

 

Governor Fintiri who highlighted the transformative powers of acts of kindness and charity, said they are instrumental in fostering social cohesion and promoting mutual understanding among the people.

 

 

 

The governor reiterated the significance of following the teachings of Islam in daily life of Muslims, adding that there is positive impact of such collective actions and can equally help in addressing societal challenges and advancement for the common good of all.
