Farauta reminds Christians on the lessons of Christ’s birth

Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has reminded Christians on the lessons of the birth of Jesus Christ which brought about light, peace and redemption to mankind.

 

 

The Deputy Governor was speaking at the 2023 interdenominational Mega Christmas Carol and service of Nine lessons organized by the state chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria.

 

 

Christmas Carol is a time set aside to sing praises and be joyous in celebration of the Yuletide season, marking the birth of Jesus Christ.

 

 

On this backdrop, Christians irrespective of denomination in Adamawa converged at Mahmud Ribadu Square Yola under the umbrella of CAN to mark 2023 Christmas Carol and service of Nine lessons tagged ” For unto us a child is born “.

 

 

The carol was preceded by the lightening of Christmas tree by the Deputy Governor professor Kaletapwa Farauta.

 

 

Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta in her message emphasised that Christmas symbolizes light, love and peace which heralds the birth of Jesus Christ.

 

 

She urged Christians to imbibe the spirit of love as exemplified by God.

 

 

Professor Farauta prayed the Yuletide season to engender more peace, unity and development in all ramifications, even as she conveyed greetings from her boss Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

 

 

In a welcome remark, the state CAN chairman who is equally the Catholic Bishop of Yola diocese Most Reverend Stephen Dami Mamza is optimistic that the carol will usher in the Christmas of peace, joy and happiness in the lives of the faithful.

 

 

The guest preacher and Archbishop of LCCN Most Reverend Musa Panti Filibus admonished Christians to obey God.

 

The clergyman reminded the faithful not to be deterred by what they have been passing through, for light, redemption and peace has come through the gift of Jesus Christ.
