The Adamawa state Police Command has confirmed the arrest of four suspected kidnappers identified as Abubakar Abdullahi, Ibrahim Garba,Isa Ahmadu and Bulama Ahmadu.
A statement signed by the Command’s spokesman SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje said the raid was conducted in collaboration with the Military after the said kidnappers organised and kidnapped two in the house of one Alhaji Shehu Ali of Tudun wada,Michika local government area of the state.
Two of the arrested kidnappers are indigenes of Yobe state,one from Askira Uba, Borno State while the other one is from Mubi-South Local Government.
Similarly, the police in collaboration with local Hunters in another crack operation at Gamu Hill have neutralized one amongst the syndicate of Kidnappers that has been terrorizing Jada, Ganye and other villages and recovered one AK-47 rifle.
The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Afolabi Babatola while congratulating the police and the Military for their gallantry assured of diligent prosecution of the suspects.
