In his continuous effort to improve the socio-economic life of the citizens, the Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni has Flagged-off the constructions of the Danchuwa-Jejere 34km road in the Jajere community of Fune Local Government Area.
Governor Buni said the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the Road, is the fulfilment of the pledge to the people of Jajere and other benefitting communities.
He pointed out that when the project is completed would unveil and harness the rich Agricultural, Livestock, and other potentials that abound in the area.
The Governor explained that the project awarded at the cost of Five Billion, Thirty-Two Million, Seven Hundred and Thirty-Two Thousand, Two Hundred and Eleven Naira, two kobo (N5,032,732, 211.02), is expected to be completed within 18 months.
Buni charged the contractors to adhere to all specifications contained in the contractual agreement.
“The contractors are hereby directed to adhere to all specifications contained in the contractual agreement”.
Governor Buni enjoined the benefitting communities of the project to support and cooperate with the contractors to facilitate quality and timely completion of the projects.
Speaking on behalf of the company QUMECS Nigeria Limited, Engr. Mallam Kyari said the company is fully ready for the commencement and assured that the project will be executed according to specifications and timely completion of 18 months as signed in the contractual agreement.
