Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has rejoiced with the people of Adamawa State and all Nigerians on the occasion of Democracy Day, June 12th.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri commended the resilience and determination of Nigerians in upholding democratic values and principles, as he acknowledged the progress made in the past two decades and pledged his administration’s commitment to deepening democracy and improving the lives of citizens.
The Governor who made this known in a press release signed by his Chief press secretary Humwashi Wonosikou urged all Adamawa residents to embrace peace, unity, and harmony, as the state celebrates this significant milestone.
Fintiri also acknowledged the hardships and challenges that many Nigerians still face, and expressed regrets regret that the democracy has not yet yielded the desired dividends of comfort, security, and prosperity for all citizens.
He urged residents of the State to sustain the hard-earned peace the administration has built over the last five years, warning that anyone found wanting will face the full wrath of the Law.
Governor Fintiri prayed for continued peace and prosperity in Adamawa State and Nigeria, as the nation marches forward in its democratic journey.
The governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to providing the necessary infrastructure for sustainable development and ensuring the safety and security of all citizens.
He equally vowed to continue to prioritize projects that improve the lives of the people and guarantee the protection of life and property, creating a prosperous and peaceful Adamawa State for all.
