Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was among sympathizers who attended the funeral prayer of Hajiya Habiba Danburam at Jimeta Central Mosque on Thursday.
Extending his condolences to the bereaved family at the residence of Aliyu Danburam in Yola, Governor Umaru Fintiri described the death of Hajiya Habiba as a great loss to the entire state.
The Governor further said the deceased died at a time when her services are dearly needed by the state towards guiding youths morally.
He prayed to Allah to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest and the family, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, noting that death is inevitable to every mortal.
Hajiya Habiba passed away on Thursday morning at Munagu Clinic in Jimeta after a brief illness, at the age of seventy five.
She left behind three children, and siblings.
The deceased was an elder sister to Doctor Aliyu Danburam, a close ally of Governor Umaru Fintiri and former Managing Director of Federal Medical Centre, Yola, now Modibbo Adamawa University Teaching Hospital, Yola.
Special prayers were offered for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
