The Numan Nasarawo Demsa Progressive Association (NUDPA), in collaboration with Engineer Adamu Ismaila, has empowered ten small business owners in Numan and Nasarawo Demsa with fifty thousand naira (N50,000) each to boost their enterprises.
The event, held in Numan Local Government Area, aimed to provide financial support to help local businesses thrive.

Speaking during the ceremony, the Chairman of NUDPA, Alhaji Babangida Sule Kakanda, noted that small businesses in the community can succeed if given the necessary support.

He said the financial empowerment was designed to aid business development. Kakanda, who was represented by the Association’s Secretary, Babangida Galleon, advised beneficiaries to utilize the opportunity to grow their businesses.

He stressed that their success would encourage the association and its partners to continue supporting women and youth for community development.
Also speaking, the Head of the Distribution Unit of the Association, Dr. Auwal Sale, explained that the beneficiaries—young small business owners—were carefully selected based on their track record and commitment to improving their businesses.
He assured that their success would open doors for more beneficiaries whenever the association empowers committed entrepreneurs in the community.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Adama Adamu said the financial empowerment would go a long way in sustaining their businesses and boosting their capital. She thanked NUDPA and Engr. Adamu Ismaila for finding them worthy and promised to set a good example to ensure the continuity of the programme.
The ten beneficiaries, drawn from Ward Two, Ward Three , Sabon Pegi and Nasarawo Demsa, include: Aisha Mohammed, Fateema Yusuf, Rashida Muhammad Adam, Farida Ahmad, Fateema Alhassan, Fatsuma Abdullahi, Fatima Mohammad, Hauwa’u Adamu, Sa’adatu Yusuf, and Adama Adamu.
