Adamawa state governor Ahmadu Umaru fintiri said his administration will ensure the fulfillment of all promises made during his campaign.
The governor stated this when he received a delegation of Eminent sons and daughters of Batta kingdom under the leadership of the Chairman of Demsa local government Area, Wenakam Fwah who were at the Dougirei government house to pay a congratulatory visit and celebrate with the governor on his victory at the polls as governor of the state for second term.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri said his administration promised an all-inclusive government for the people of the state, and he will fulfillment all promises that were made during campaign for the development Adamawa state.
The governor said his administration will create an enabling environment for people to establish businesses they desire since the government cannot offer employment for all, adding that his administration will ensure individual and group development in the state.
While expressing delight over the visit, the governor called on the people to live in peace with one another and be security conscious in their areas now that the rainy season is here and farmers are fully engage in farming activities.
Gov Fintiri described the delegation as political friends with whom he is always assured of honor whenever he interacted with them.
He urged them to support the government as it implements policies, which according to him can go a long way in fulfilling promises made.
The representative of Hamabatta during the visit, Dauda Teneke, Makaman Batta said the delegation was at the government house to congratulate the governor and wish him well in his second tenure.
Dauda Teneke called on the governor to continue with the good work he started, assuring him of the support of the people of Batta chiefdom.
Also, an elder from Maya community who spoke on behalf of the BIDOMA people, Engineer Peter Bokido thanked the governor for his active support to the people of Batta chiefdom.
He equally congratulated the governor, calling on him to focus on people oriented projects and prayed for a successful tenure and wished him well in championing the affairs of the state.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation, who is also the Chairman of Demsa Local Lovernment, Wenakam Fwah thanked the governor for the opportunity given to serve the people of Demsa Local Government, at the same time expressed his happiness for the support he is getting from the people of the local government.
He therefore called on the people to support the Fintiri led administration for the development of Adamawa state.
