Adamawa State Government to prioritize Workers’ welfare.

The Adamawa state Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has pledged to give priority to welfare of civil servants and the people of the state.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri stated this when he granted audience to members of PENE DA BWATIYE DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION WORLDWIDE at the Banquet hall, Government House Yola.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri said his government will ensure that all the necessary things that are needed in order to cushion the effects of fuel subsidy removal will be put in place within the shortest time.

Governor Fintiri also gave assurance that his administration will redouble its efforts in providing security to the people of the state.

He said the present administration will equally do it best to alleviate poverty in the state through massive investment in some of the critical sectors.

He therefore called on people of Adamawa state to support this administration for the growth and development of the state.

In his address, the acting president, PENE DA BWATIYE DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION WORLD WIDE, Mr. Chief James Iliya said the essence of their visit was to congratulate the governor and his deputy on their victory at the polls.

He said as well wishers too, their prayer is that God in his infinite mercy will give him the wisdom and capacity to pilot the affairs of the state.

Also speaking on behalf of the title holders of Bwatiye kingdom worldwide , Chief Vesley Zaki thanked Governor Fintiri for selecting one of their own again, Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta as his deputy in the second term after a successful first tenure with Chief Crowther Seth as deputy governor who is also from the Bwatiye land.

The Hama Bachama and Hama Bata who were both represented by Chief Joel Hammajoda during the visit commended the governor for his laudable projects in the state.

In his vote of thanks, chief Pwavidon Jaule described Governor Fintiri as a prime mover and a man of great success, with great achievement in upholding the education sector.

He therefore called on the governor to continue with the developmental strides in all sectors for the growth of Adamawa State.
