The Management of Gombe State Internal Revenue Services has called on the general public to pay their taxes when due so as to complement the efforts of Government.
The Overseeing Executive Chairman, Gombe state revenue services, Malam Kabiru Shuaibu Mohammed made the call in an interview with Radio Nigeria in Gombe.
Kabiru Shuaibu Mohammed said the Agency generated substantial revenue in 2023 due to support from the present administration of the state, he therefore urged Heads of Ministries, Departments and Parastetals as well as all citizens to give the services maximum cooperation to perform better this year.
He reiterated the Service’s readiness to use modern facilities and techniques to block leakages in revenue generation in order to move Gombe state forward.
Malam Kabiru Shuaibu expressed his appreciation to Gombe state governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Gombe State House of Assembly, the State Executive Council, and all stakeholders in the revenue sector, pledging more support for better performance.
